You Are You Podcast Ep 9: Truth-Filled Ways To Enjoy God Every Single Day (Part 2)

Good morning! I’m writing and recording this on a Monday morning, and it’s a real treat to start the week off with an extra long session of soaking in God’s presence with the sun streaming through my windows. Beautiful and is reminding me of the joy of enjoying God’s blessings.

Actually this reminder of joy started during my personal prayer time this morning. God often reminds me to live with joy and yet I still often need the reminder. Today I felt him say, “Come join me and enjoy all I have prepared for you.” This truth is applicable for all of us right. If you love it and want it, claim it!

For 2 Corinthians 9:8 says:

God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done. (MSG)

Let’s live as fully awake daughters of God eager to be his hands and feet today and everyday.

And if you’re looking for some encouragement on how to be a fully awake daughter of God, keep listening and I pray you enjoy Truth-Filled Ways to Enjoy God Every Single Day (Part 2).

Here's a recap of Part 1:

1. Wake up to God

2. Soak in God’s love

3. Give thanks throughout the day

4. Serve others

5. Meditate on eternity

Here's what we'll cover in Part 2:

6. Appreciate your God-given design

7. Appreciate others’ God-given design

8. Work hard

9. Stay clean

May we remember that God is gracious and merciful but no one is promised tomorrow. May we choose today to give God 100% of our lives and do what he tells us. May we commit to honour him above all and give him 100% of our hearts. James 4:8 tells us that as we come close to God, he will come close to us. What could bring us more joy?

Love you all and praying we all experience greater intimacy with God in the days, weeks, years ahead!
