What’s God been teaching me about the quality of my heart now that I’ve started going on dates again (after 2.5 years of singleness)? For one thing, that I may have surrendered my heart to him and healed from many things but… he’s still doing quite a bit of work in me! I hope that as we recover, whether it's from heartbreak or from any other sort of life disappointment or difficulty that we rebuild on God's truth. So we don't rebuild on ourselves, on our ambition, or on our strength, but we really take those opportunities to give our broken pieces to God, listen for his voice and do what he says. There is no better way.
